PMA entrance exam on Aug.25

THE Philippine Military Academy (PMA) will conduct the PMA Entrance Examination on August 25, 2013 in 37 examination centers in the country.
The PMA Entrance Exam is the first stage in the selection process for cadetship in the premier leadership training school in the country.
Requirements for admission in the Philippine Military Academy are the following: Natural-born Filipino citizen, physically fit and of good moral character, single and has never been married, at least high school graduate, minimum of 5’0 but not to exceed 6’4 for both male and female, no administrative/criminal case, must pass the PMAEE, and should be born from April 01, 1992 to April 01, 1997.
The applicants must pass the PMA Cadet Qualification Test which covers Algebra and Geometry, Grammar and Composition, Reading and Comprehension, Verbal and Numerical Reasoning and Pattern Analysis before they will be able to proceed to the next phase of cadet selection which is the Complete Physical Examination. In the said phase they will undergo medical and physical fitness test to comply with the requirements for the military training they will undergo in the Academy.
The Academy reiterated its policy against maltreatment in the Cadet Corps, Armed Forces of the Philippines saying PMA advocates “Zero Tolerance to Maltreatment” stressing it is implementing the “No-maltreatment policy” among the cadets.
Successful applicants will compose the PMA Class 2018 who will be officially received in the Academy in an Oath-Taking Ceremony and Reception Rites on April 01, 2014.
